How rate caps work: "per hour" and "per day" are per currency — BTC and ETH each have their own bucket. With 1/hr · 24/day · $1 stake, the absolute worst case is (1 BTC + 1 ETH) × 24 hours × $1 = $48/day in stake risk. A fired BTC bet does not block an ETH bet from firing the same hour, and vice versa.
